About Nadiah
Hello Aliens! My name is Nur Nadiah Binte Anwar and I was born on March 16th, 1992. I am the second child and the youngest girl in my family so I get things my way... usually. I'm a fish, Pisces that is, and according to Wikipedia (lol) Pisces babies are supposedly introvert... which I am not. I'm a cheerful and bubbly person most of the time and I just love talking, joking and mingling with people. I'm outgoing and not afraid to go up to people and do crazy things in public. I am super thick-skinned and I can go screaming and singing my hearts out in public. Besides that, I can purposely ask a stupid question or say a random thought out loud, in the most inappropriate places. Once, I asked my friend really loudly in a packed MRT at Dover at 6PM (Hate rush hours!), "What does it feel to have sex with an old man? Everythings sagging including the dick." and boy, did I get stares and pissed off looks from the older people in the MRT. Mind you, I'm only 17 and I'm a Muslim girl lol. Though I always appear to give a sweet/innocent/cute facade , you do not want to be around me when I'm in a horrible mood. I'm a hot-headed person unfortunately so I do get pissed quite easily. I hate hypocrites and I hate people who bitches about me behind my back. Grow some balls and say it to my face, coward, because I have no problem doing that to anyone. I don't give a shit what people think about me as I am who I am and I will never, in a million years change for someone unless it is for my own good. I'm currently schooling at Singapore Institute of Management doing Diploma in Management Studies. Often, people would ask me, 'Why didn't you enroll into a Junior College or a Polytechnic?' and my answer my dear ones would be, I wanted to try something different. I was blessed and thankful to Allah Almighty that I was accepted into both a Junior College (Millennia Institute - Commerce) and a Polytechnic (Republic Polytechnic - Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science) before realising that it wasn't for me and hence during my first week in MI while awaiting the appeal results to Poly, I applied for SIM and got accepted into the 26th (April) Intake. So far, school has been no picnic. I have to admit that I have struggled through some stuff but I am determine to persevere and work hard towards my goals. Insh'Allah, I will be graduating with my Diploma on the 31st June 2010 and will be applying for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting and Finance together with the University of London.
I'm staying in the extreme East of Sunny Singapore together with my parents, my elder sister, my two younger brothers, my cat, my 2 rabbits and my 3 turtles. As you can already see, I love animals so much that I've turned my house into a mini zoo! Mommy's not too happy with it though but as long as I remain responsible in taking care of them properly, she doesn't nag. My hobbies includes sleeping, talking, laughing, shopping, singing, slacking at Starbucks, reading, watching movies, doing nothing, etc. I guess most of my time would be spent either sleeping or reading or talking on the phone (and too much of it, apparently lol!). My favourite authors are JK Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, Nicholas Sparks, Steven King and most recently, Dan Brown. I read just about everything and anything, really but these are probably my favourites (I love reading Fiction/Fantasy books way too much)!. My favourite colour is PINK and I quote from my best friend, Nasyirah Parveen, "nads hates everything and everyone except pink". I will never ever be bored of pink! My room is overwhelmed with pink stuff like my walls, laptop, computer chair and wardrobe hoho!
I have been blogging ever since March 2006 and I can't remember why I decided to start blogging. I think its just for the sake of blogging I guess. But as time go by, I realised how much I enjoy writing (though my recent posts aren't exactly good writings haha! =x) and blogging actually helped me improve in my English Language. You can always go back to my 2006 archives and see how horrendous my posts are... On the other hand, don't. I'm kind of embarrassed of it haha. I'm not saying that my blogging skills and my writings are awesome but it has improved tremendously! :)
Though I love living in Singapore (mainly because of the yummy food and clean environment), I do not plan to stay here my whole life. I plan to move to Australia or London when I'm 20 to further my studies and start my career there. I'm 17, and that's 3 years from now. Hopefully with hard work and blessings from Allah and my parents, everything would work out for me :)
I don't know why I'm actually writing this down... Maybe because I'm feeling bored and I don't have anything to do.. Maybe because I just love to free write and just pen out whatever is in my head right now.. But it doesn't really matter because I know I'll be the only one who'll be reading this after this. Hahaha!
Okay bye! (I love abrupt endings lol!)
xo, Nadiah
